Funeral service is at Breckland Crematorium on Friday 16th June 2023 at 12.15pm
Before he died, Chris wrote "I don’t want people to be sad. I want people to celebrate, laugh and have fun. I want my loved ones to realise that I was happy, and that they made me such. I want this event to be one where they can all be happy that they gave me that, and not sad that I am now gone."
He also stated "categorically, no black suits or ties; I want my send off to be happy, fun, irreverent. If people want to turn up in running kit, cycle lycras or tri-suits, definitely! Anyone wants to wear a bright yellow Oxford United shirt, do it! Summer dresses for the girls, gaudy t-shirts and Hawaiian shirts for the boys. Anyone wants to turn up in Cosplay or a Marvel morphsuit, please do it."
The funeral service will be followed by a festival to celebrate Chris’ life at Gressenhall Social Club, NR20 4DY (please see map below).
